The ice and coal business required the company to deliver appliances and these customers would ask Boerman’s to provide moving services for their household goods. Through the 1940’s and 1950’s the ice and coal business changed and the Boerman Moving & Storage primary business became a full service moving and storage company operating in the Chicagoland area.
In March 2000, the company moved into a 40,000 sq. ft. facility in Woodridge, IL which was recently expanded to 58,500 square feet in 2017. The warehouse provides both household goods and distribution services. Family owned for 94 years, Boerman Moving and Storage is a trusted pioneer in the moving and storage industry.
