The finalizing of the acquisition last year created the fourth largest household goods carrier in the United States, together increasing the interstate agency base from 240 agents across the country to approximately 370 nationwide. The combined company produced record revenue for 2012 and is on track to do the same for 2013 while providing excellent service to its customers.
While each brand brings a unique approach to the sales and execution of private and corporate relocation, both are rooted in quality, attention to detail, and customer service. The synergy between the brands lies in the operational efficiencies brought to bear by utilizing the quality drivers and equipment of both the Wheaton and Bekins fleet.
All drivers and equipment used by either brand meets the stringent quality requirements of Wheaton Van Lines, Inc., the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), and the Department of Transportation (DOT).
Dave Witzerman, president of Wheaton Van Lines, commented on the first year of partnership: “As we approach our one-year anniversary of the Wheaton | Bekins partnership, the overall transition and melding of two storied brands have exceeded our expectations. Agents and drivers have assimilated into a new system with few glitches and the net result has been increased capacity and improved service to all of our customers.”
It is without a doubt the Wheaton World Wide Moving | Bekins Van Lines partnership has their focus on another successful year.
