Congratulations to Bekins agent SeaCure Moving, Inc., on being named the New Jersey Warehousemen & Movers Association (NJWMA) Mover of the Year for 2024! This award is highly respected, earned by the organization that sets the standard for excellence within the moving industry.
The McQuaid family through its three New Jersey locations represents one of the highest quality agents in our van line network, and Bekins Van Lines is proud of our association with such a great organization. In fact, SeaCure Moving earned the Bekins Agent of the Year award in 2018, coming out on top of hundreds of other Bekins agents to earn that coveted title.
Customer-Centric Foundation
The focus on customers is foundational throughout the moving company and is respected throughout the Bekins network.

Volunteering their Time
Tara and Ron both participate in van line-led discussions with other agents to learn from each other on how best to combat rogue operators. In addition, Tara and her husband Matt Dixon have volunteered countless hours and talents to help the NJWMA educate New Jersey customers on red flags to look out for when choosing a moving company.
Longtime SeaCure Moving employee Thomas Kilduff has served on the NJWMA board and in other positions with the association for years, volunteering his time to make the moving and storage industry in his state the best it can be.
NJWMA Award History
This is not the first time agents in the Bekins network – and the van line as a whole – have earned recognition from the NJWMA. In 2023, Bekins Van Lines earned the NJWMA Associate Member of the Year Award and Jill Spina – Controller for Bekins agent Transtar Moving Systems – won the Catherine Toole NJWMA Woman’s Recognition Award. Another Bekins agent, Main Street Movers, took home the 2019 NJWMA Mover of the Year Award.
