AMS Relocation Appears on “Designing Spaces”

May 1, 2023 | Moving Agent News

AMS Relocation, Inc., an interstate agent for Bekins Van Lines in the Bay area, recently had the opportunity to star on the TV show Designing Spaces Local Edition: San Francisco to talk about how they strive to make the moving process easier for their customers.

Cameron Eversole, AMS Relocation, Inc., Director of Marketing & Growth, on the set of Designing Spaces.

“They were interviewing about 30 different moving companies in the area. We went through an interview process, and they liked AMS’ story,” said Cameron Eversole, AMS Relocation, Inc., Director of Marketing & Growth.

The episode focused on choosing a moving company, and AMS was the agent for the role. The Designing Spaces crew provided them with a list of questions based on their knowledge, which helped the AMS team prepare for being on camera.

“Filming the segment with the team was a lot of fun,” said Eversole. “Picking the right moving company is probably one of the biggest stressors when you’re starting the moving process, so we wanted to focus on showing the value we provide customers instead of hard selling our business.”

Eversole encourages other agents to keep an eye out for similar opportunities that can provide long-term value through a recognized outlet, like Designing Spaces.  The episode will be a resource AMS shares with prospective customers during estimates, as well as on their website and social media accounts.

The AMS team agrees that a positive moving experience begins with being as prepared and organized as possible from the start. The list of tasks involved in a move can seem endless, but their goal is to lighten the load for customers.

“When our phone rings, we know people are really saying ‘help’,” said Gary Wolfe, AMS Relocation Owner/President.

AMS’ old-fashioned philosophy to “help people” has driven success for more than 70 years, and starring on Designing Spaces gave them the opportunity to expand the circle of people they hope to assist with moving.
