Celebrating the New Year with Bekins President A.J. Schneider

January 12, 2021 | Bekins Company News

Some toasted family members and others banged pots and pans on their front porch or set off fireworks while celebrating the New Year, but Bekins Van Lines celebrated by naming A.J. Schneider as president. The Bekins President’s creative approach to household goods during the unprecedented pandemic led to the van line’s success during a challenging year.

Background of Bekins President

A.J. has more than 16 years of industry experience – 14 with Bekins. He is directly responsible for a variety of the company’s key departments, including Agency Development, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Revenue Accounting. Over the years, his role has evolved into more direct responsibility for the company’s overall internal and external results. A.J. is also on the Bekins Board of Directors and was previously the van line’s Executive Vice President.

During his tenure at Bekins, it has been clear that A.J. takes an out-of-the-box, creative approach to the industry – a thought process that needs to continue for future success in household goods. A.J. has represented the company across the industry, from national and state associations to external groups focused on quality and customer experience. He has also been an integral part of relationships with corporate accounts and charity partners such as Give Kids The World and Move For Hunger.

What’s next for Bekins President

“I’ve worked with A.J. for more than a decade, and I’m pleased to be able to put him in a position to have an even greater positive effect on our company and our brands,” said Mark Kirschner, CEO of Bekins Van Lines. “I believe A.J.’s progressive approach will continue to benefit our customers and employees across the country.”

As the company continues to evolve, A.J. will take on increased responsibilities for the future success of Bekins and will become further involved in other areas of the company.
